Attendance
Permission
No pupil should be absent from class without proper reason and prior permission.
Half Day
Halfday leave will not be gratnted to students.once they come to the school they have to attend the whole day unless requested bythe parents in case of an emegency.
Regular Attendance
Regular attendance is insisted upon . A pupil who is absent from class will not be admitted unless a leave notice is produced from the parent stating the reason for absence .
Serious Illness
In case of serious illness that requires absence for more than five days the principal must be informed in writing and the doctor’s certificate must be presented by the parent . The principal can grant only the 15 days leave and another 15 days leave can be had through the production of a medical certificate . Absence for more than 30 days in an academic year will make the student not eligible for promotion .
Reason For absence
Reasons for the absence must be clearly stated in the record of the diary .
80% Attendance
Pupils who do not get 80 % attendance for the year are to be detained or be advised to leave the school .
Grading System
As per the Board’s recommendation instead of marks , a 10 point grading system has been introduced for all classes from I to X. In this system numerical marking mode will be converted into grades as follows.
